Trent Reznor Releases Theme for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2″

It’s been a momentous week for fans of Nine Inch Nails and Trent Reznor in particular. This week, the iconic frontman promised new material from Nine Inch Nails was on the way, while also giving fans the cahnce to stream his new EP How to Destroy Angels.

That’s not enough for Reznor though, today he’s given us a taste of the song made specifically for the new Call of Duty video game, Black Ops 2.

The instrumental piece starts off as something reminiscent of Reznor’s work on The Social Network soundtrack, with a delicate piano riff playing softly. Things quickly pick up though, with a pulsing drum beat and crushing guitars, against an orchestra of sound, making for the perfect them to pwn some noobs to.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 hits stores November 13th, with the 40-track soundtrack hitting shelves the same day.
