Jimi Hendrix Legendary Woodstock Gig to Be Broadcast in Theatres

To celebrate Jimi Hendrix’s 70th birthday, the legendary musicians iconic set from Woodstock is set to be played in cinemas around the globe on November 29th and DEcember 4th.

The show will play alongside the film Live at Woodstock, which includes interviews with band members Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell, as well as engineers who had worked with Hendrix.

Speaking of the cinematic release, Janie Hendrix, Jimi’s sister said, “THis film reflects a legendaru event in our history as well as a true pinnacle of Jimi’s career. We celebreate his 70th birthday as we continue to celebrate his legacy.”

Footage from the concert has been digitally restored and will also feature a new 5.1 audio surround mix, making this an unmissable experience for any die-hard Hendrix fan. The footage will show the songs, in their original sequence, listed below.
