Almost a decade after the death of TLC’s youngest member Lisa Lopes, the group has decided to return to the stage with a reunion tour and new album.

“The hologram is something we talked about and thought about years ago. Obviously timing is everything, but we’re definitely talking about it,” Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas tells the U.K.’s Metro newspaper.

The idea to resurrect Lopes became prominent after Tupac took to the stage once more at last year’s Coachella festival. This is the first time though, that the two surviving members have admitted their plans.

“It will be hard on us, but I certainly think our fans would love to see it,” says Thomas, 41. “I think we would probably pass out, and all of our fans would break down, but it’s amazing how real the hologram looks. It’s almost like you can touch the person.”

No specific tour dates have been set as of yet, nor has a timeline for a new album been stated, but 2013 looks to be the year of TLC.
