Amazon has been having problems with profitability of late, and it seems they’re trying to pull themselves from the wreckage in any way possible. Even if that way is by proxy of your vice.

Amazon has revealed a new online marketplace for wine connoisseurs that features more than 1,000 wines from wineries in the United States, including Francis Ford Coppola, Hall, Mark Ryan, Eden Canyon, Pepper Bridge and Roadhouse.

Currently the service is only available to California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming and the District of Columbia. The challenges of selling alcohol online including tight state regulations have only allowed them to operate in these territories for now, yet Amazon hopes to add more states to that list.
