E3, the annual gaming conference in the US, brings together the best of all gaming developers and companies from around the world to demonstrate their stuff. Each year new titles, systems and engines are introduced and those people lucky enough to attend get to see things way before the public.

This year, one game title in particular made huge waves. Published by Naughty Dog (of Uncharted fame) and slated for a 2013 release, “The Last of Us” is a post apocalyptic game that looks staggeringly gritty and almost unbearably intense. Drawing waves of controversy over its hyper realistic violence the title drew yelps and applause from the E3 crowd as evidenced by this video. From every article I’ve read about the event this year, “The Last of Us” appeared to be the biggest hit of E3. The demo video leaves little question; this one is going to be a doozy!
