J.K. Rowling’s long awaited new novel “The Casual Vacancy” was released today, to much fanfare. Obviously though, the world just can’t let go of Harry Potter, and it seems as though Rowling can’t either.

The magical world that first made the author famous, was brought back into question when Rowling did an interview with BBC, in which she hinted at the possibility of further ventures into the Potter world

The author admitted that there were a couple of Harry Potter books – “one towards the beginning and one towards the end,” – that she knew needed more development before seeing the light of day.

She said, “I read them and I think, ‘Oh God. Maybe I’ll go back and do a director’s cut.” Thus, leaving the door open for future Potter novels, although the series has ended.

And queue, the squeal of millions of muggles around the world
