This week’s episode of Saturday Night Live saw Jeremy Renner play the role of host, and he definitely filled the role well. While the live show contained a bounty of prime skits, the one above will surely get you laughing even though it didn’t make Saturday’s airing.
The following clip, which was enacted during the show’s dress rehearsal, is all about Thanksgiving, with Nasem Pedrad playing the matriarch of a family about to sit down for Thanksgiving dinner. Things are interrupted however when the intrusive co-worker Harriet (played by Kate McKinnon) shows up.
Things appear fairly normal, other than Harriet’s zany attitude, until Harriet’s husband (played by Jeremy Renner) shows up at the window. The scene only escalate from there, leading up to the most memorable moment in the skit, in which Bryant exclaims an audible “Oh, shit!”
Perhaps a reason why this skit didn’t make it to TV.
In any case, this clip is sure to lighten up your Monday, so enjoy as Saturday Night Live says “Happy Thanksgiving”
