Yahoo and Tom Hanks are teaming up to bring you a first of it’s kind web series called “Electric City” which debuts on July 17th. The entire series is 90 minutes long, but it will be broken up into 5-7 minute episodes.

This series is being called “groundbreaking” as Yahoo is attempting to truly immerse the viewer into the experience of Electric City by creating a “360-degree online interaction of digital, social, mobile and gaming media” around the series itself.

Starring along Hanks in this series are Jeanne Tripplehorn of Big Love, Holland Taylor of Two and a Half Men, Ginnifer Goodwin of He’s Just Not That Into You, and many others including: Jason Antoon, Chris Parnell, Paul Scheer, June Diane Raphael and Georg Stanford Brown.
