The Star Trek: Into Darkness Teaser Is Here!

That’s right, folks. The long-awaited sequel to J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek reboot has finally opened the floodgates. The teaser prominently features villain Benedict Cumberbatch, star of BBC’s Sherlock and The Hobbit’s Smaug. It’s still unclear who his character is in this film, but it’s safe to say he’s fond of punching.

Want more? Select IMAX screenings of The Hobbit are showing off a whopping nine minutes of the movie, and expect to see this trailer attached as well.

Into Darkness certainly looks exciting, but let’s hope there’s still some sort of trek through the stars between all the fisticuffs. We’ll find out for sure on May 17, 2013.
