Just two and a half months after AMC chose to give the cult show the axe, it looks as though it will in face be returning for a third season.
Talks are currently being had between FOX TV Studios, the production compony responsible for relentlessly looking for a new home for the show, and Netflix. A strong third-season pitch by series’ developer/executive producer Veena Sud is supposedly responsible for getting Netflix involved.
FOX TV already has series regulars locked in for a third season. This deal will mean that Netflix will essentially get the bill for the show while it keeps its home on AMC. All of this is still in early developments, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
