‘Simpsons’ Episode Written by Judd Apatow Two Decades Ago to Premiere Next Season

Judd Apatow recently made a vist to Conan O’Brien’s web series Serious Jibber Jabber and in the interview revealed that an episode of The Simpsons he wrote would be hitting the air next year.

The script is in no way fresh though, dating back 22 years when Apatow was a comedy writer.”The story involves Homer undergoing hypnosis to believe he’s Bart’s age, but he then becomes Bart’s best friend.”

Somehow, producers of The Simpsons acquired the script and will now be turning it into a proper episode to be debuted sometime in the next season.
