Read the First Five Pages From “Django Unchained” Comic

Anticipation is quickly building for the release of Quinten Tarintino new film “Django Unchained,” hitting theatres Christmas Day.

Given the artistic nature of the film, it comes as no surprise that the action flick is also taking form in the graphic novel. Today, comic book producer Vertigo released the first 5 pages from the comic based on the film.

The first issue of the comic is currently in stores, and will be available digitally on December 19th, with a sereis of issues to follow.

The first five pages seen here essentially play out the scene from the trailer where we first meet Jamie Foxx’s character, “Django.”

After having released “Man With the Iron Fists” earlier this month, and now the release of “Django Unchained” looming, it looks as though 2012 will be the year of Tarantino.
