PSY Profits $7.5 Million From ‘Gangnam Style’ Success

It’s been six months since the initial release of PSY’s smash hit Gangnam Style, and since then the YouTube mega-star has profited $7.5 Million off said success.

Park Jae-sang, better known as PSY, has earned the majority of this cash through YouTube pay-per-click ads and iTunes downloads. Surprisingly it seems that PSY is not so profitable in his home country; he’s reportedly only pulling in $60,000 from South Korea.

The majority of this owed amount is coming from iTunes as the song has been downloaded to the tune of $2.6 million. The rest of PSY’s income has been coming from various sources such as public appearances, commercials, halftime shows, media investments and other random events.
