Metallica are currently wrapping up their Metalli-3D tour movie, but are asking fans to join them for one final night of production at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Monday August 27th.
Here’s the best part; tickets are only $5, with no extra service charges, and all proceeds going to benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
In a post on the band’s website, it was noted that while they’ll be running through their full live show, there will be frequent breaks so director Nimrod Antal can rearrange lights and cameras.
Metallica have been filming their 3D concert film and tour documentary for the past month, taking a “massive over the top stage show” from Mexico City to Edmonton and now to Vancouver. The film is slated to hit theatres next year.”
“We’re starting a little early to allow the movie people to do that they do,” the band wrote on their website. “So please come and plan to stay for a full night of fun and games… and who knows, maybe we’ll see you on the big screen next summer!”
So, if you love Metallica and you have $5 to spare, you better make your way to Vancouver this week.
