Times are tough right now. We’re all looking to earn an extra buck here and there. No man seems to be more desperate than Eric Hartsburg however.
The young man recently ended an eBay auction, in which he auctioned off a 5 by 2 inch space on his face, with which the winning bidder could determine a tattoo for the space.
The winning bid tuned in at the sum of $15,000, and here’s the kicker: Hartsburg had a Mitt Romney logo tattooed on his face. Because that sounds like a good idea right?
Luckily for Eric, he is a supporter of the cause and didn’t have much of a problem going through with the tattoo.
“I’m a registered Republican and a Romney supporter,” Hartsburg said. “ I didn’t mind getting this tattoo because it is something that I could live with and it’s something that I believe in.”Hartsburg isn’t letting his 15 minutes of fame go to waste either. The role model told ABC News he wants to use this as an inspiration for young people to get out and vote.
“I want young people to know that it’s ok to be young, and it’s ok to be a Republican. You don’t have to be rich or elderly to be labeled as a Republican, and I want everyone to know that.”
