James Franco to Teach Film Class at USC

What’s James Franco up to these days? Besides being a blockbuster movie star, the actor is working on two musical projects: one spoken word Motown band, and an indie-rock band.

Now, the zany artist has announced that he will be co-teaching a film class at USC next spring. Franco and his business partner Vince Jolivette will handle teaching duties for an unannounced class.

What is known is that each student in the class will be required to direct a short film, which will be graded by Franco and Jolivette. Kudos to Franco for throwing this onto his already crammed plate of projects, how he’ll find time for it, no one knows. We’ll be very interested to hear what his students have to say once the class begins though.
