Most people don’t know that Eastbound and Down was originally scheduled for only a three-season story arc; It was always imagined as something to “keep short and not give it a chance to get old,” says creators Jody Hill and Danny McBride. But regardless of creator wishes, it seems like the show will in fact get old as Hill ok’d another season just yesterday (likely due to an overwhelming amount of cash being thrown his way).
