‘Game of Thrones’ Releases First Teaser Clip for New Season

Winter is coming.

And that means Game of Thrones is coming back to your televsion screen. Don’t get too excited, the show won’t actually be here until spring is in full bloom, but that hasn’t stopped producers from building anticipation already.

Last week it was revealed the show would premiere it’s third season on March 31, 2013. Now, the first teaser clip (if you can call it that) has been released.

The short  clip shows the show’s initials, carved into stone, as an ominous female voiceover is heard proclaiming, “The great war is between death and life, ice and fire. Of we lose the night will never end.”

Then a flash showing the numbers 03.31.13 indicating the season’s premiere date.
