I can only imagine it being quite unpleasant living in New Jersey. Mostly because of the stereotypes MTV has spoon-fed us over the past few years. Things could be looking up though as DreamWorks has recently inked a deal to bring a Disney World knock off to the state.
The indoor theme park will be situated 10 miles west of New York City and will feature rides, attractions, and a glass-enclosed wave pool, all centered on DreamWorks iconic characters. This will be the first theme work wholly concentrated on DreamWorks and its films.
The planned project near MetLife Stadium has already encountered problems though, as the Jets and the Giants sued to block construction, saying the theme park would create issues in the already congested area on game days.
Developer Triple Five hopes to have the park open to the public sometime in 2014, although it is unlikely the grand opening will occur in time for the 2014 Super Bowl to be held at MetLife Stadium.
