Prepare to get all angsty: Bink 182 has announced that they will enter the studio in early 2013 to record a brand new album.
The band has revealed that they will enter the studio in February to record their follow-up to 2011’s “Neighborhoods.” However, they have admitted that since recently parting with Interscope Records, they have no idea how they will go about distributing the album.
Speaking of the split, bass player Mark Hoppus said, “We’re lucky to be in a position where after 20 years in our band, we can be independent and open to all options. It’s a very exciting time here. I feel like our band is in the best place it’s been in a long time.
This will be Blink 182’s seventh studio album to date.
