It’s been a rough day for TV lovers; first Community was put on an indefinite hiatus, now the same has happened to FX’s hit Louie.
However, the future for the comedy superstar isn’t quite as bleak, Louie is just taking a long break. Instead of returning next summer, like many had thought it would, the show will not return until 2014.
Speaking on a conference call, C.K. was quoted as saying, “I don’t want to be making the doughnuts. I want it to be something that comes from somewhere important and stays funny.”
It really comes as no surprise that Louie needs a bit of a vacation considering that he writes, produces, stars in, and edits almost every single episode of the series. However, it remains to be seen where we will get our laughs from until 2014.
